I survived the Bibbulmun.

I've been 'off the air' for a couple of weeks.  The weekend before last I finally got to walk for two days on part of the Bibbulmun Track.  I was soooo excited because I've looked forward to doing it for so long, (we usually head North when we get time off).  Admittedly, it was just a beginners walk, but that's not the point.  At last I was able to walk amongst the majestic canopy of trees and experience the forest, ferns, 'black boys' and orchids...........and the smell of the dampness, shade and shadows.

And yes, trees DO have feelings.

Day one.

Day two.

The view from our 'camp'.

That is actually a camera hanging off my belt...........not a sporran!  And check out the new walking pole - pretty professional huh?

I've been for another couple of walks since. Just up Place Road to Bunnings though! (Without the pole).
